Raptors learning from heartbreak | Toronto Sun

“The thing with Kyle is a happy medium between trying to do too much, it’s all admirable, it’s not because he’s selfish — he’s trying to win — and so if you over-do it, the defence starts loading up on you, but he’ll find it. Being off 2 1/2 weeks, I think he’s kind of getting his sea legs a little bit more, his rhythm and he found it last night in the second half.”

Jonas Valanciunas fights through high altitude | Toronto Sun

“It’s pretty hard to play there,” Valanciunas said. “They told me I would get tired after the first couple of minutes, but then I need to break that wall. The second time I went in I broke it and after that it was good.”

Toronto at Sacramento | CBSSports

The Sacramento Kings and Toronto Raptors have scuffled in recent years as two of the NBA’s worst teams. This season looks no different. We got to win tonight. There are only handful of teams in the league that are as bad as us and Sac is one of them.

… and I hope they have had enough time to replenish their oxygen reserves after Denver.  Maybe if they were resuscitated in an oxygen hyperbaric chamber ….. suck it in and suck it up boyz… the t.h.f.’s desperately need a “win fix”…. aaaaaaaaaah

The Raps aren’t that bad – as individuals they can be exceptional. Dwane just needs to come to terms with who should be playing/starting. So here’s my 2 cents:

Lowry, TRoss, DDR, ED, JV  for 12 min to set the tone on D and rebounds

Lowry, DDR, Pietrus, Bargs, Amir  for  6 min to see if Il Mago is awake tonight

Jose comes in for 6 minutes   for  6 min  sub JV and move Amir for AB if he not awake

If Bargs is shooting well, he plays 3Q, if not it’s back to the starting rotation.
