Kyle Lowry ejected in 2nd quarter vs. Wizards

That’s no good.

A sluggish Toronto Raptors team will have to make a 17-point comeback without one of their All-Stars.

Down big to the Washington Wizards in the second quarter of Sunday’s game, Kyle Lowry let that frustration show, complaining to an official after getting back on defense following a missed driving, spinning runner. “That’s a f—ing foul,” he appeared to protest multiple times, apparently angry at a non-call on the spin.

The referee hit him with a technical foul, and a displeased Lowry protested, earning a second technical. That’s an ejection, folks.

Lowry played just 12 minutes before sitting down for the night, scoring two points with one assists and missing all four of his field-goal attempts. It’ll be tough for the Raptors to come back without him, but that was probably going to be true with him, too, given the team’s energy level. At least he’ll be well-rested for Tuesday?
