This is the real story of the game. However, I doubt that anyone else has will write it.
Something will have to give. Either Jack goes back to the bench or Jack or Bargnani should be traded. As long as Jack, Weems and to some extent DeRozan are on the court together Bargnani will be frozen out of the offense. If he is not scoring he is basically worthless
I make no judgment call on whether the Raptors would be better off trading Jack or Bargnani or sending Jack along with Weems to the second unit. It will play itself out one way or the other. I doubt that Jack and Weems will change their thinking and Bargnani is not all of sudden going to be a defensive wiz and rebounder par excellence.

Just wanted to give you a heads up.
Following in the tradition of the true Libertarian and contrarian that I am I decided to set up a Raptors related blog.
I am right now waiting approval on using a photo of the Raptors mascot in my header/background. In the meantime I may or may not put up an article or two.
You can see from the blog description what the blog is about.
In order to devote time to this new blog as well as at least one other that I have in mind to setup, in addition to my NBA 25-15 blog I will be reducing my posting efforts here.
I feel it is time to spread my wings on this. It is far more important for me to be able to express my perspective in a "quieter" environment that it is to be heard in a noisier one.
I know that I am not a writer but more of a numbers guy. However, since these are my blogs and I am writing for my own gratification and not to drive traffic to them it really doesn't matter on how well I write. What matters is that I will now be able to express my opinions about hoops related issues that interest me in a "quieter" environment.
I will still remain logged in to Raptors Republic and reading, however I will just not be posting so much in the future as I have in the past.
I imagine that many of my articles on Raptors180 will present an opposing view to articles and posts that are written here.

As far as I can interpret what he tweeted from his Facebook page he said
I just took some Melatonin so I could go to sleep
Which makes sense since Melatonin supplements help put your sleep cycle in order. They are used by people to help fight jet lag.
So far no problem
However, I did some research and it appears that Melatonin supplements are banned in a number of countries because of certain health affects if taken long term.
It appears that Canada may be one of those countries that has banned it. If that is the case has Bargnani just violated Canadian law?

One thing I should note just for your info. I used to travel a lot overseas to parts of Asia. Long flights from CA for sure. Someone once told me how to fight jet lag. I tried it and it worked every time.
1. When flying on long flights that span several meals do not eat period. Just drink water.
2. When you arrive at your destination look at the clock and if it is time for breakfast go eat breakfast after arriving or if it is time for lunch go each a lunch meal. I tried it and it worked every time. No jet lag and no need for drugs to keep me awake or put me to sleep.
The reason is that food and eating are what regulate the body cycle. So if I didn't eat on the flight and waited until I arrived my body would go on the cycle of the type of meal I ate. Of course for this to work you have eat what would be considered a meal similar if not the same in carbos, protein etc that you would normally eat for that meal. After eating the meal the body then thinks it is on that time cycle. So if it is a dinner meal you will fall asleep when you should according to local time. If it is a breakfast meal your body will think it is the beginning of the day.
I didn't and won't post this information on the forum.
However I find it interesting and thought that you might also.
P.S. I wonder if he is using a drug like Melatonin which may be perfectly legal in Canada to address something like jet lag which doesn't need drugs to be addressed, is he taking any other drugs to help him function, especially drugs that he shouldn't?
I am just raising the question and as far as I am concerned it stops here for me.

If the feature is activated, your password won’t be good enough to log into your account. You need both your usual password, and a code that Google will SMS you after you try logging in. If that sounds super annoying to you, you will be happy to know that the feature can be avoided if you mark a computer as “trusted”. This is a great feature that Google Apps users get for free — and with pretty much no setup.
In order for someone to compromise an account (from an untrusted computer), they will need both the users password, and their cell phone — a combination that surely won’t happen very often.
