  • Bosh Pining Privately to Return to the US (ESPN Insider)

As being reported by Chad "Rumour Hound" Ford:

Bosh has been pegged since last year as the major free agent most likely to bolt his team. But the Raptors have been playing better basketball of late and decided to roll the dice and not trade Bosh at the deadline. Although Bosh has been privately pining to return to the States -- especially somewhere warm -- I don't think it's a foregone conclusion that he'll leave. Still, the Raptors are really going to be sweating it out.

You can expect every one of the teams with cap space to make a push for him, with the Heat as the most interesting option; a Bosh-Wade combination would be very formidable. And don't count out the Bulls, who would love to add him to their young core of Derrick Rose, Luol Deng and Joakim Noah.
Who wouldn't rather be somewhere warm in the middle of winter.

But I'm sure all the players know that Toronto is having better weather this Winter than all of the East coast US cities.

Detroit is just as cold yet no one complains, I don't get it. I guess Americans think the temperature magically drops ten degrees when they cross the boarder? Or maybe they don't realize we're using Celsius?

I can't see how weather would be a problem anyway, Hey you guys are rich by a friggin coat.
I'm sure Wade has plenty of time to go to the beach between practice, travel, media engagements etc etc anyway.

You know, I just has another thought about all this. It's a shame that Bosh is telling BFF Chad Ford all this and not Brian Colangelo.

Seriously guys, you need to stop posting these. Who cares what the American media thinks Bosh is going to do? Do you think its going to make a difference when it comes time for Bosh to make his decision? Everyone is crying over spilled milk.

It's true that Detroit is just as cold or colder but that's more than made up for by the urban decay and street crime.

How is Chicago warmer than Toronto, ehh?
And yes, during winter you wish you want in warmer places, but as summer approaches (playoffs) do you really want to be in these warmer places?

In the winter Chicago is not warmer than Toronto after you take into account the wind chill factor blowing off of Lake Michigan for most of the winter.

That is because anyone in Detroit who was smart enough to complain has left.
