  • Kwame Brown Would Be A Cheap Big

would it be worth trying to resurrect Kwame Brown from the bone pile? Maybe surrounded by the Raptor youth he may actually contribute......He is a big body at 6 11 270.....just a thought and we could probably sign him for 3 mil a year.

While I think he'd be decent as a back-up centre, we already have a glut in the middle. No reason to put more money into our front court unless we're adding to the 3 spot.

Actually we only have Bargnani for C atm, since I think Alabi is still a project who might be more suitable for D league than NBA. For now anyways. We have too many PFs yes (too thin/undersized to play C).

Kwame could be a good addition as a back up for a cheap price. But what I really want is a starting caliber C (like Chandler...sigh), so that Amir and Davis come off the bench instead of start.

            Not a fan

He has no drive to his game. We have had enough of those kind of players.

That said, he won't come cheap. Word is Boston had interest but he wanted too much money. He still seems to have that high draft player mentality.

Yeah, maybe Jordan has forgotten that he drafted Kwame first overall (Wizards) as one of his first acts as an exec

Along similar lines, I was thinking we should pick up Joel Anthony.

The guy is a bit short, but is strong, willing to get. brutal with opponents and the team would use that. Plus he's canadian, and I doubt the Heat would be able to match anything above the minimum for him considering they are close to maxed out and have to fill at least 5 more roster spaces

Hell no! Raps will be better off playing Dorsey & Alabi behind Bargs.

I'd only ever want him on the team to play him against Charlotte, as a "this is how shitty an exec you are, MJ" statement

i'd take Adam Morrison for the same reason

Helllll NO!! We might as well sing Cheikh Samb from the summer league roster! Kwame Brown is probably about as good as Nathan Jawai

Knowing th Raptors luck he'll agree to a deal here, pull a John Salmons, and end up finally living up to his potential for the Knicks!

Keep Dorsey. No Kwame. We don't need somebody taking development time away from our younger players.
