Since Jose was inserted into the starting lineup he is averaging 10.7 assist per game which would rank him third in the league. Although his scoring is a bit down I have been impressed with his leadership and ability to run the offense. Even Steve Nash took a while before he evolved, he actually peaked later on in his career.
