I saw this today, I think it was the 3rd story. I wasn't paying attention to the ticker and was shocked when they started talking about The Raptors. I didn't really disagree with anything they said. Although I feel Bosh probably could be the main guy on a championship team, but you need some really good players around him, not just random good players, but good players that compliment him. Oh well, only 3 more months then speculation is going to kick into overdrive. Will be fun to watch the draft and free agency this summer.Quote:

problem with the raptors is bosh everything is build around him ...
he lacks the mental toughness to demand the best of his teammates ..
he sets the great example on defense by not guarding anything ...
this team is capable of lots more , but it won't
bosh is waste of money , very simple
please let him go before your tied up to a max contract
Toronto's only chance to get outta the first round is if they play Cleveland or Miami.
They do not match up too well against any of the other top 7 in the east. So bring on Cleveland....

Well the main problem I have with what MaGIX said is that he/she seems to blame everything currently wrong with the Raptors on Bosh. The Raptors had a lot more problems than Bosh, in fact, Bosh was probably one of the lesser problems, even now, with Bosh gone, the Raptors have a ton of problems that aren't related to Bosh in anyway.
As for the team being built around him...I don't see how. I can see how we signed players to try and convince him to stay (because he was our best player) but we never fully committed to building around him. The claim that he was a franchise player is a joke meant only to sell tickets, MLSE knows it, BC knows it, even Bosh knows it.
Any person with one good eye can see the difference between Bosh and the players that you actually build around (i.e. Dwight, LeBron). The difference was obvious even in their rookie years. Maybe I just have too much faith in BC to think he was never stupid enough to try and solely build around Bosh.
