Well, good for Reggie. I think he a few teams had a chance to look at him while he was a Raptor.
Not really a role I want for this team, but whatever.

Thats because he gets the most signing with the Nets. The new CBA seems to be working...tough to just walk away from about $25 really big ones guaranteed...unless of course the team had nothing going for it.
Now, what does Nash do? I think we shall know tomorrow. Action time.

Sixers Insider Dei Lynam reports that, according to a league source, the Sixers have acquired 6-foot-9 swingman Dorell Wright from Golden State. It is unclear what exactly the Sixers are sending in return, but CSNBayArea.com's Matt Steinmetz is speculating it is a player who is currently playing overseas, possibly Edin Bavcic, whose rights the Sixers acquired from the Toronto Raptors after he was selected in the second round of the 2006 draft.
Quote:
The Warriors have agreed to trade Dorell Wright to the Philadelphia 76ers, according to league sources. In return, Golden State gets the rights to a player Philadelphia previously drafted and stashed overseas. (Previously reported it was for a future draft pick. That was not correct)
Feel free to merge/remove this to another thread.

1. Do you think Raptors could have offered similar offer? (James Johnson/Ed Davis perhaps?)
2. 76's now have log jam at wings: Andre Iguadala, Thad Young, Nick Young, Evan Turner, Moe Harkless, Dorrell Wright.
Does this make Iggy expandable and should Raptors pursue him?
New developments in that trade.

The Warriors will acquire Jarrett Jack in their trade involving Dorell Wright.
Wright will go to Philadelphia while New Orleans clears cap space and the draft rights to Edin Bavcic.
Former Raptor, Jarrett Jack, is now going to the Warriors to backup Curry. Nothing too interesting, but I thought I'd point that out in the trade thread.
yahoo sports is reporting that Serge Ibaka and The Thunder have agreed to a 4 year 48 Million extension. Assuming the numbers are correct, is that a good value contract? I'm an Ibaka fan, but not sure I'd want to spend 12 mill on him. Also I think this makes it more difficult for them to extend Harden.
They over payed him, imo. Though with current salaries of big men in nba it's becoming normal.
He did lead the league in Blocks, and is an improving player. Had they let him become a restricted free agent they may have gotten a worse deal....front loaded, poison pill, or just much bigger. Nic Batum got over 11 mil per, I am sure Ibaka would get at least that from a team.
I think Ibaka's deal is worth it when you look at the likes of DeAndre Jordan and Brook Lopez.
Sadly, the new CBA has not help NBA teams to stop overpaying for talented big men.
