not sure i would want a rookie as a backup. Especially an undrafted one, i wouldn't mind him as a third string though

It appears Portland has struck gold. Damian Lillard by far is the most intriguing prospect. Reminds me of Brandon Roy without the bad knees.

The problem with Lillard is what he has shown in the summer league. He has shown that he's very shot-happy and he has shown that he does certain have issues with passing with ball without turning it over. The good thing is I can easily see him become another Russell Westbrook.

i would tend to agree more if he was an undrafted freshman. but machado is a senior. 4 years of college ball is a good solid base.

Ed Davis is impressing me. His jumper is getting good, and he shows more fight, especially on d and rebounds. Grabbing the board after Joesph's missed free throw at the end showed a lot of strength and determination. Seems being under pressure has helped him, can only hope it flows into next season.

Ya he's good/entertaining. Was the sonics guy during Gary Payton, Shawn Kemp era. Big homer but fun to listen to, knows the game, adds excitement and has the good pipes. All the èpic Kemp calls are his.

Did anyone find out why Holloway didn't end up playing for us? I ask because he's been pretty good and would have loved to see Ross and Ed play with a real PG.
