Hopefully that link works... they have a logo now for the Pelicans. I must say, it Looks pretty neat. But maybe I'm just letting my Hornets fan buddy influence me. What do u guys think?

Name isnt that bad. It'll grow on all of you. If this team had been 70 years old and had already well established it's name I bet a lot of people would have no problem with it.

Not sure if ur serious, but it even states on their state plates that Minnesota has 10, 000 lakes... hence the name. There's also that many lakes in Los Angeles, so why not keep the name?
