Raptors trade Jose Calderon to the Timberwolves for Derrick Williams and JJ Barea.
Timberwolves shed salary and get another really good point guard to make a playoff push this season while Rubio is not healthy. At the end of the year they save more than 8M$.
Raptors get back a forward with a lot of potential and a good backup point guard.
I guess we could trade Bargs for picks, just like the Nuggets did with Camby a couple years ago?
I think it's a realistic trade, not like the Gay's trade. What do you guys think?
The other trade that I believe is more realistic than the Gay's trade is a Granger trade.
Jose, Andrea and Kleiza for Granger, Augustin and Mahinmi would be great. Our team next year could be this:
C : Jonas Valanciunas, Ian Mahinmi & Aaron Gray
PF : Ed Davis, Amir Johnson & Quincy Acy
SF : Danny Granger, Landry Fields & Tomislav Zubcic
SG : DeMar DeRozan, Terrence Ross & Alan Anderson
PG : Kyle Lowry, DJ Augustin & John Lucas
