The reason we trade for paul pierce is a quick fix at the small forward position while ross and derozan develop and to give us some much needed credibility. This deal also rids us of Andrea Bargnani and Kyle Lowry. Finally, less pt for Alan Anderson.

Seriously, we are going to trade for 35 year olds? I'm pretty confident that the gm that pulled this off would see the deal blocked by the owners in this careerending move.
