Disagree that he's better - it's really apples and oranges, because of Sheed's shooting ability.
I thought someone had him already?
Similar, but his technical foul game isn't nearly as strong
Maybe a slight reach, but based on skill set and performance, it's hard to find anyone better at this point.
Can't pass up a shot blocking 5 who shoots 3s! JimiCliff selects Rasheed Wallace!
It's pretty crazy how his legacy already seems so tarnished
With whatever pick this is, JimiCliff selects Dennis Johnson!
We'll be looking to recreate this play:
Wow! I had a whole post lined up to pick him! Gonna have to give me a minute...
I didn't know that he was also in Deadwood.
I know who it is
Axel, maybe you can give us a clarification here.
From Axel's PM about the league:
Longevity shouldn't really matter at all, because we're talking about a player playing one game while at his peak, which is, I believe, whenever you choose to...
I'll have you know, Joey, that he was 1st or 2nd team All-NBA for 5 straight seasons.
I'm appealing to the thinking man's vote with Grant Hill ;)
It's single season, I believe.
I hope :|
...to give us a little more edge.
If you give notice that you won't be around, like, say, Miek did earlier today, then I'm fine with a long grace period. At least we know what's going on. But if you go totally AWOL, then I'd say even...
LOL so Stackhouse and Webber, two of the most accomplish players he ever played with, couldn't get along with him. THAT'S EXACTLY MY POINT.
But seriously, I was just going to say:
If I was playing in a pickup game that my life depended on, I'd absolutely want Iverson on my team.
And apparently Stephen Harper's recruited Iverson to be a big part of his upcoming federal election campaign platform, so there's that too.
I dunno, I mean, the guy flat-out said "I am not a bench player" when he was with Memphis. Obviously had a huge ego, and a warped, or non-existent, concept of team basketball.
