I would actually be into giving Derrick Williams a shot at backup PF. For minimal money of course. And if everything else falls though
I don't think I've ever been more nervous/excited to see what the Raptors do in the draft. I'll be a little disappointed if Masai doesn't trade up into the top 7
I can't wait for the draft and July 1st now. There are (I believe) changes coming, and if it's not Casey is players. Let's get some high upside youth in here and see what happens
I'd like to have Harris, but I'm more intrigued with him playing PF. Helps with spacing and he has the size. I also think it would help his defense, as he seems to struggle keeping wings in front...
Not that this is a huge deal or anything, but this is what Drake brings to the table. People do identify with Toronto at least partially because of him. These college ball players are exactly the...
Winslow would bring some fire and attitude to the team for sure
Agree with Bandit. This draft looks to be pretty deep well into the 12-15ish pick range. Doesn't seem like a big jump from 20 to 12 but I would be pumped if the Raps pulled it off
I'm at work. What are they saying?
Wood's motor has been questioned, which makes me nervous. I think this team needs an intense, lock-down alpha dog. Besides that I'd love to draft Wood. His skills/tools fit perfectly
Man, it would be so easy to retool and miss the playoffs even for just a year, to get another young core piece. As presently constructed next year the Raptors wouldn't be much better. You know who...
Sauce for Prime Minister!
I can't remember if I've posted this before or not but here goes:
JV needed to get STRONGER, not heavier. I don't think that distinction was made to him by the developmental/coaching staff. JV...
Haha i was actually going to add to my post "is it weird that I said yes to all of these?"
Fresh from Simmons mailbag regarding Raptors offseason:
Hey, everybody, it’s the reeling Raptors! Would Indy trade George Hill and the no. 11 pick for DeMar DeRozan?3 Would Sacramento pony up...
I'd be into Gentry. He is an offensive genius that helped Kerr with the Warriors' offense, and Gentry probably learned a lot about their defensive principles this year too. I think he's the only guy...
I love the idea of 2Pat playing PF with JJ at the 3 a lot more. Pat stretches the D out with his shooting, and if they really want to on their defensive side, JJ can guard the PFs while Pat guards...
Can the Raps please just swing the effing ball if the Wiz are going to trap again on the PnR? I think the players will be pleasantly surprised by what happens...
Wouldn't mind taking a look at Wes Matthews if he can play at the same level after tearing his achilles
Lowe actually names quite a few highly regarded assistant coaches in that piece. I would like to know more about some of them.
I'm also getting the feeling from some readings and radio spots I've...
The following rambling was brought to you by last night's game:
To me it looked like the shine is finally off this "chemistry wins games" theory. I mean that as a result of the score last night...
Even after a loss and a pessimistic couple of days... I can't help but get hyped! Lets GOOOOOOOO
Man if Raps had an offence to run, that would be sweet. Might help get an easy basket too
What is Draymond's reach vs JJ's? I know JJ is similar size but Green just seems longer and more disruptive
