Not sold on Wall either, but on what planet is Larry Sanders a better player?
IIRC he was voted the 2nd most athletic player in his draft class (after Ross). He's clearly an impressive dunker/finisher in traffic judging by his college highlights, and he's a surprisingly good...
The thing is I'm not sure his game is "figure-out-able". The majority of his points are either second-chance or just him driving into defenders and shooting over them where they can't contest it....
I don't mind the Pelicans. Better than Hornets IMO. Speaking of team names, are there any leagues with stranger ones than the NBA? I always thought the Nuggets were hilarious when I was a kid because...
They lost by two points to the 3rd best team in the East. Unless people were expecting them to finish 3rd or higher, I don't know how anyone can be too upset at this point.
If I remember correctly, GMs can't vote for their own teams/players, which means Pat Riley somehow had to choose between Atlanta/Charlotte/Washington/Orlando... I'm sure he had a good chuckle over...
For the record, "utmost" and "uttermost" are both acceptable.
As far as I know, Vasquez is still under contract with New Orleans. That being said, a Vasquez-for-Calderon swap might make sense for both teams. I guess it depends on how comfortable Monty Williams...
Nothing wrong with Fields/Kleiza splitting time at the 3 for the short-term. Who knows, maybe T-Ross ends up being the next Mitch Richmond or Michael Finley (fingers crossed :)) and a wing upgrade...
I'm pretty sure we don't. To qualify for the Bird exception, the player (Gray) must not have signed a new contract with a new team for 3 consecutive years. Since Aaron was a UFA last off-season...
I'm sorry, it was only a matter of time. :p
^ This. Some of the game's best shooters have low releases, including guards... see Steve Nash, Eric Gordon, Steph Curry, et al. Lillard will be able to create just as much space as these guys given...
No they couldn't. Salaries don't match, and Charlotte can't absorb Gay's contract with Diop and Thomas on the payroll. Granted they could throw in Maggette, but even so, after all that it would leave...
Are you sure? That gives Memphis a LOT of depth compared to what they have now, AND gets them away from the luxury tax (long-term), AND gets them a lottery pick. Maybe they aren't willing to give up...
If another team were to come up with a better offer, one way we could potentially sweeten our deal would be to include Calderon (expiring) in return for Conley or Mayo (in S&T). Whether Memphis sees...
You forgot to do the reserves.
I love the idea of Robert Sacre as one of our 2nd round picks. Definitely could be a poor man's Taj Gibson/Tyson Chandler in the NBA. Even if he ends up being a Dan Gadzuric (worst case?), still a...
No, we must rid of ourselves of "Bargnani" before we can even begin to enchant this championship you speak of. For as long as we remain under its spell, we are but a mere pebble hopelessly trying to...
Mirza Teletovic
Maybe, but they don't have to pay anyone for at least two years anyway (Turner and Holiday still on rookie contracts), and it's not like they're dangerously close to the luxury tax threshold. I just...
I would say that Danny Granger probably makes the most sense out of all the options, especially if the Pacers feel that Paul George is a forward and only a forward. Financially, they're in great...
I for one think he might actually be a great fit. Here's an excerpt from his DraftExpress profile...
Now try telling me that doesn't sound exactly like a younger Jose. So much for the Bayless...
This
Mike James. Obviously partly joking, but damn it was fun to watch him play when his shot was rolling! He lit up his share of defenses that year... :D
