Depends what happens next year. Just thinking of the scenario, where Lowry and Gay turn out to not be people to build the team around (I hope that doesn't happen). Then certainly Lowry can get traded...
Definitely GM first. Get players that work together.
GMs often bring in their own coaches, which would be fine, but for sure the first two are more important.
I agree it would have been better to give up our log jam at 3, but the Grizzly's know how to pull off a trade -- get rid of a whiny,high-paid, mediocre shooter for a solid backup PF, who could become...
Not very professional. Are Jose or Ed dissing the Raptors because they were traded? No. They are professionals that are deserving of respect, as opposed to someone with a chip on their shoulder. Hope...
Lowry has issues with coaches, and from what I understand Memphis had issues with Gay. Wasn't it Gay that said there was nothing good about Memphis soon after he got here? So, my point is they have...
+1
I really cannot see MLSE agreeing to extensions for Gay or Lowry. These guys are both experiments. They were picked up because they did not get along with their former teams, and have a rep for being...
I think they are not going to change things in mid season. There is really no point. Or at least before the trade deadline. I also think that MLSE told BC to say out of coaching, and do his job. And...
We Canadians really need to stop being polite to the American refs.
Sometimes you need to call a spade a spade.
Personally, I think that the refs do not want any mouth guards thrown at them any more :D
I am actually very tired of whatever spin comes out of Bryan's mouth. Maybe because it is simply always spin.
Start ed davis without any trades. Bargs comes off the bench. If he is going to be traded then he will be on the bench on another team, so may as well get him used to it.
I think the real change is that MLSE met with BC and Casey and they said Casey is the coach, and keep your nose out of coaching BC. Now it is D above every things else, and forget about trying mixing...
The first thing the raps need to do is to show that Bargnani is happy coming off the bench. Then he can be traded as a bench player. No one is going to want to go through that effort, or it results...
I wonder if MLSE told BC to keep his nose out of coaching and Casey is actually allowed to coach the team the way he wants to.
No, he wanted to be the Executive Coach, and Sam said, stay out of my job.
Meddling in the coaches job, which means that he is contemplating his 4th coach in 6 years.
That, and having the lowest wins / payroll ratio in the NBA last year. I would hate to think what it is...
Just have Bargs come off the bench. No point in trading him if you get nothing for him. Let another line up play. If there is no interest, then amnesty him in the summer and pick up a free agent with...
Great article on BC in Toronto Life of all places.

One of the interesting...
I am not sure it is the coaching at all. I think that BC loves the run and gun offense, and told Casey that he needs more offense and that should be done at the expense of the defense that was taking...
Was that not the reason that Sam Mitchell was fired -- for not wanting to talk with BC about how to do his job?
Maguire also because he is a great practice guy to get the starters used to having a great defender on them.
Stick to the rebuild. Need to have a great base that is competing in a couple of rounds of playoffs and then get the last two pieces that get you compete for championships.
