    Default Toronto-UTAH (Derozan for Millsap)

This would be an off-season trade - Demar for Millsap (sign & trade). UTA needs a legit starting SG (Hayward and Foye are tweener type, bench guys) and Millsap is not staying to free up minutes for Favors. So the Jazz should be happy to not only get a starter back, but one who fills a need. It would be a straight up sign & trade + filler, depending on the Millsap offer sheet. Seems to fill a need on both sides.

Millsap also gets a raise of about 2 million!

I think this is a win-win for both teams, and funny enough it was exactly what I had in mind!!

Now, if we go into full tank mode, and get in to lets say the 3rd pick(Oladipo)...

    Lowry/MLE (CJ Miles?)
    Ross/Oladipo
    Gay/Fields
    Milsap/Amir
    JV/Amir

Milsap, JV, Amir is the exact front court we want moving forward!! Seriously, best front court the raptors will have ever had!

Ross, Oladipo, Gay is a very diverse wing crew. Gay is the 'star' player, Ross is that 3&D player, and Oladipo is the defensive- high fg% specialist. What they all have in common though is how athletic and explosive they all are. The fast break will be exciting each and every time these guys run!

With Lowry and Fields doing the intangebiles, I would be very very happy with this team!!
    The Baltic Beast is unstoppable!

Agreed. DeRozan for Millsap would be ideal.

I'd be thrilled with a big rotation of Valanciunas/Millsap/Johnson and a wing rotation of Gay/Fields/Ross. The Raps would still need a 4th wing (preferably not Anderson) and a backup PG (preferably not Lucas), but that is a solid 7 player core (including Lowry) and has the making of a very young, talented and deep core/rotation.

The only other similar deal I could get behind would be a Bargnani & DeRozan & future 1st round pick(s) (assuming 2013 pick goes to OKC) to Minnesota for Love & Ridnour & filler (likely Williams or Roy). I personally think Gasol & Boozer are too old, especially if DeRozan is going to be involved - I would prefer a younger PF that can be part of the team's core for a number of years.

I like Millsap but won't trade DeRozan for him, if we can somehow land either Millsap, Jefferson, David West or Lamarcus Aldridge in the summer, I would be thrilled, we will go along with Lowry-DeRozan-Gay-PF-Val. I'm quite sure next year with a whole season of Gay and 2nd year Val, we would be a good team to watch.
