Your 2017-18 Toronto Raptors have missed the playoffs for the 10 straight year, but there is light at the end of the tunnel as GM Bryan Colangelo, whose contract was renewed yet again (6th straight one year extension), is pleased as punch that the Raptors have snagged the overall number one pick in the 2018 draft lottery.
The obvious number one pick is DeAndre Ayton, the now 7 foot 2 inch phenom with point guard skills. Colangelo says that Ayton will be used as a stretch 4 coming off the bench spelling his aging power forward Andrea Bargnani, who has a problem laying off the pasta and is tipping the scales at over 300 pounds and can no longer touch the rim or his toes. The elbow is good now though his PER has slipped into negative numbers.
