Wade and Bosh look terrible. It's like they are having a negative impact out there. Wade looks like an old man and Bosh looks like Bargnani. Lebron is great but he can't beat the Spurs 1 on 5.
Its to the point where I'm wondering why Spoelstra is even leaving him on the floor? Failed game plan by Spoelstra? feels obligated because he's one of the big 3? He's offering very little defensively, almost nothing on the boards, and is living on the perimeter offensively (and Indy, and in atleast this most recent game, the Spurs couldn't seem to care less).

Maybe Bosh's ankle tweak (or whatever it was) is bothering him more than he lets on, but Bosh = Bargnani couldn't be more appropriate at this point in time.

i didn't think that at all while watching the game... but in retrospect, you are absolutely right! 5 rebounds, 0/4 from 3 pt range.. that's one bargtastic game

On vacation in Italy ... Very upset I missed that Game 1 ... However thanks for posting that shot by Parker ... That's ridiculous!
honestly... and maybe i'm alone in this... it was jaw dropping

up to that point... i'd cheer and fist pump whenever SA scored... that Parker shot, i just shut up, mouth agape.. completely speechless..

i was also EXTREMELY impressed with Kahwi Leonard... wish i'd have watched more of this kid all season... he was having a bad shooting night, but compensated well with constant hustle

I gotta tell you. I was high on life watching the Spurs closed out the Heat last night in game one. They are everything that basketball should be about.

I just love how at one point there is Bosh, Wade and Lebron all around him, trying to poke the ball away, and he finds a way to overcome all of them.

Thats one of those shots that we will look back on in 40 years.

Can we credit Miami's defense for Manu's inability to dribble or is he just hammered?

This game is actually really pathetic right now! Spurs are not playing Spurs basketball.... This is turning out exactly like the Thunder-Heat series last season. Thunders take game 1 and lose the other 4 games...

That's jumping the gun a bit isn't it? The situations are really not similar. Forget how different the Spurs and Thunder are (the Thunder DO NOT play team basketball), the Thunder also had homecourt advantage to start the finals. THey also couldn't win in Miami. San Antonio has already taken the first game and broken Miami's homecourt advantage. We'll see what happens when the series shifts back to San Antonio.

The Spurs split the Heat home games so they've really come out ahead. No way Miami erupts like that in T.D. building. Ain't happening.

    Wow. Just wow.

I don't think this Heat team has ever been beaten down that badly. It will be interesting to see how they respond.

Fantastic game. You could sense in the third that no matter what Miami did, the Spurs were going to maintain that 10ish point lead. And they did for a while, until Miami finally cracked, and the flood gates opened up.

I remember thinking to myself a couple months ago .. "Whatever happened to that Gary Neal guy who had such a solid rookie campaign out of nowhere for the Spurs out of Military.." .... Oh, there he is!

And how about Danny Green?? How does this Spurs team do it?!
