Expect game 6 to be rigged as hell for the Heat to win. Stern will assert his iron first into the refs to force a game 7 to get the highest rating game this season.
So true. He might not even have to do that either, with the game-to-game swinging we're seeing.

Danny fucking Green... breaking all kinds of Ray Allen records.... against Ray Allen

** disclaimer - i have no hate for Allen.. he's been one of my favourite players for a very long time.. most former Sonics hold a special place in my heart...

but this shit is just precious...

Allen is a mercenary, he'll survive. Hell he might be playing with Danny Green next year. The Spurs must look really appealing to him right now...

    Bahahaha.

We've really seen a different side to Tim Duncan lately .. when he's not in front of the cameras, I bet he's a really fun guy.

One of the funniest things I've seen in a while from a player, was Manu talking about Tim Duncan's likely reaction to getting his own statue; (completely 'stone' faced, no pun intended) shown at 0:26 of the video below:

These guys have been together for SO long at this point, that it would be weird to see them on any other team. Imagine San Antonio has THREE lifers on its hands? Manu, Parker and Duncan .. that's special. And David Robinson did it prior. God damn that's a good Franchise.

Stern's rigging these finals is really sneaky; he might even let the Spurs win again so nobody notices how rigged it is.

i was thinking in analogies, as i am wont to do.. And if NBA teams were movies...

The Miami Heat are the Twilight movies

There's legit young talent there... real performers.. with track records of actually suceeding prior to being thrust together in this hodge podge of talent... And realizing the talent they've put together... the higher ups felt there was no need for anything conclusive to hold everything together... hell, just throw them on screen... put up some half assed CG that you could have made with a Commodore 64.. who cares about plot, character development, pacing, etc when you have these pretty faces to sell on people.. the entire franchise can be carried solely on the shoulders of it's stars... All they need is pretty faces, and excellent marketing and they'll have you believe they're the best "TEAM" around.. (Bosh is Taylor Lautner, cuz that fuck ain't done shit ever worth mentioning)

    The Spurs are the Expendables.

because they're old, and awesome.. and everything works exactly how it's supposed to be. Are they going to win any popularity contests like the academy awards? Nope. But god damn if you think they're going to lie down and let you stomp on them.

Bosh's new found "confidence", which is usually just flat out Arrogance, has really turned into my biggest pet-peeve in the NBA. For all his talents, Lebron is actually more of a humble human being that even Bosh. Which is ridiculous. Lol

It's almost comes off like a kid playing "Super Star", and trying to be like his Big Brothers or something.

i really hope they're keyed in on stopping danny green...

    opens up everyone else.

and when manu and parker are lighting them up, and they realize "oh shit, what did we do?!!?" and spoelstra panics... green can take another record home late in the game

    Heat in 7.
Today Spurs +240. Lebron will get more chances in the future. This group tim, tony and manu need one more. Today.

Every Spurs win, other than Game 3, I have felt like Miami was just about to comeback at any moment. Every SA lead looked precarious. But, but.... the Spurs still won. I have a feeling that tonight, we're going to see one of those 28-18 games from Duncan. I am not at all confident in my prediction but I have a feeling the Spurs are going to pull a Dallas and take Miami out tonight. I don't think Spoelstra has any cards left to play but I believe Pop, Tim, Manu and Tony have something left in the old bag o' tricks.
