A trade built around Andrea Bargnani and DeMar DeRozan for Kendrick Perkins, Thabo Sefolosha and any of their picks.
I know that salaries are not working but... I mean, our GM is Masai Ujiri.
Now why would Toronto do this? Well, first of all we would get rid of Bargnani and we would also have more cap space as his contract and DeMar's would be off the books. While doing this we would also get back 2 quality veterans. In Kendrick we would get a good center that would bring a winning mentality and some toughness to the team. In Thabo we would get an excellent defender who can also shoot pretty well, exactly what we are looking for at the 2 spot.
Why would the Thunder want to do this? They would get another scorer in Bargnani, as a starter or coming off the bench. They would also get a new, young starting shooting guard in DeMar. This would just be some improvements for a team that is already a championship caliber team, but a team that still need some adjustments.
This would be the roster before draft night and free agency. Kleiza is gone via amnesty (if it is possible) or by any other way (it's not that I don't like the player or the man, he just needs to go).
What do you guys think of this idea?
