    I honestly don't see that line up being better than our current line up.

    However if we do this trade:

    To raptors: bledsoe, afflalo, butler
    To clippers: bargnani and derozan
    To magic: lowry

    Then amnesty kleiza and sign mekel this our depth chart now:

    Bledsoe/mekel
    Afflalo/ross
    Gay/butler
    Amir/Acy
    JV/gray

    If we use our MLE to pick up a quality big to add depth to our 4 and 5 position we are in good shape. We improved our defense (afflalo>derozan) we improved our 3 pt shooting (afflalo>derozan) and since we took back butlers expiring deal and afflalo has 3 years on his deal and is cheaper than dd we improved financial flexibility too.
    So instead of Hawes and Turner, you want Afflalo and Butler?
    Go look up Hawes, he would be so valuable on our team. I think thats where you and I falter is how we value Hawes.
    The team you gave has only 2 servicable big men, Hawes adds 7'1'' of blocking, scoring, and even 3pt shooting. He is also only 24 yearsold.

    Afflalo > Turner for sure, but someone like Hawes is what we need to round out the roster. He would fit perfectly next to our other 7 footer.

    Evan Turner is a pretty good addition, and some would argue he fits better next to Gay.
    People were saying how
    The reason why DD/RG cant work is cause Dd can't shoot. Well Evan Tuener doesn't help.

    37% from 3?
    He also passes with 4.3 apg.
    OH! and he rebounds! 6.3rpg!

    He stretches the floor and is far from one-dimensional, which is usually the knock on Demar (and I defend Demar all the time)

    People are saying that Demar and Bargs is too much without an extra asset out of the Clippers. And I agree. So how about this trade:

    http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=qeojz29

    Raptors -> Afflalo - Bledsoe - Jordan
    Clippers -> Demar - Bargnani
    Magic -> Lowry - Butler

    Clippers shed Butler, get Bargnani (stretch 4) and their wing needs
    Magic get their PG and fill the emergent whole at the wings

    and Raptors do it for this lineup:

    Bledsoe - Mekel
    Afflalo - Ross
    Gay - Fields - Acy
    Jordan - Amir
    Val - Amir

    Amir - Jordan - Val will have the highest 3-person FG% in the league.

    Ya I just checked out hawes on basketball and his per36 and advanced stats are pretty good actually. And he can stretch the floor, he would fit in nicely.

    Ive been a Hawes activist for our 3rd established Big now for a while. I feel he would be the perfect compliment to Amir and Val! Maybe Im a bit biased but thats why I always try to connect Philly to any deal!

    DeAndre Jordan couldn't play in crunch time. Bargnani can a stretch 4 that can solve spacing+free throw issues
    Chief Sosa ‏@_DualeY 53s
    Bledsoe for Bargnani is blessed. Bledsoe for Derozan hell no!!!
    Lmfao Im loving all this.

    THE IGNORANCE IS SO THICK!!!! apparently the only person stopping this deal is Doc who likes Bledsoe?

    Heard Doc is a huge fan of DeRozan as well. Looks like DeMar ain't in it anymore though. LOL.

    Can a trade just happen already?

    Is moving both Demar and Lowry considered a rebuild or a retool??

    The Toronto Raptors have joined the Orlando Magic at the head of the list of known suitors for Los Angeles Clippers guard Eric Bledsoe, according to sources close to the process.

    I came late to the part as well ... and apparently I missed a lot ... Bargnani has market value again?! Amazing ... what is this voodoo witchcraft magic you've used Masai?!

    Obviously Bargs for Bledsoe straight up doesn't work ... but if something like this ended up happening, Masai would have my vote for Exec of the year, two years running.
    In Masai we Trust.

    I hate Bargnani, but the clipper fans are not that wrong.

    This has all the ingredients i always said bargnani needed to save his career.

    1- He wont be a #1 or 2 option for that team, maybe not even #3 depending on crawford.
    2- Elite Coach
    3- Franchise player who is a leader, and will get on his ass.
    4- Championship aspirations to keep him motivated.

    So when bargnani becomes pretty good, dont look back on this day with remorse. It wasn't gonna work here, clippers just have the ingredients we dont.

    Bargnani would probably do well under guys like Doc and CP3.
