I know I know, who cares? lol I still get excited thinking about it, it was definitely worth the six hour drive.
I read the headline about how the Raptors were in the middle of talks to acquire Bledsoe, but after reading the first few paragraphs of the article, it seems unlikely that there is a deal to be had there, no? By the end of the piece, they were talking about a Bargnani for Butler swap (which I'd still be on board with, btw), and the Clippers retaining Bledsoe to move to another team in a separate deal down the road. It struck me as a lot of smoke and no substance.
Sometimes the best trade is the one that doesn't happen. I still believe Lowry is the better "PG" right now.
We as well do not know if Ujiri has dominoes to fall after any deal here (like what are the plans for Lowry etc). Iam anxious to know the path he is taking too.
Theoretically couldn't Lowry and Bargs work for Bledsoe and Butler?
People need to realized that Doc Rivers must love DD for a reason. I'm happy if his not included in the trade.
I'd love to see raps make three team deal with afflalo and Bledsoe coming to toronto, dd and ab to lac, and butler to orl.
Orlando has a lot of less than ideal contracts in Turk, big baby, Harrington, and Nelson. Sending out $20m to clippers and only taking back 10m gives toronto some ability to save orl serious cash and create financial flexibility sooner than later.
Afflalo struggled last year as he was asked to take a starring role when he is best suited as a supporting cast. He would thrive next to Rudy.
Derozan won't get you spacing, he'll get you some fast break finishing and low-efficiency inside-the-arc shooting.
Worth noting if dd and ab left for butler and eb raps would get about $10m TPE which could be used in sign and trades.
Does foul trouble count for anything?
3pters>freethrows, unless you have very efficient numbers
2014 draft. that is all
^you basically just summed up that no matter what DeMar does or doesn't do will ever be appreciated
