    Default Available PFs and FAs

Ok what we know so far

    1) Al Jeff signed with Bobcats
    2) Millsap signed with Hawks
    3) J.Smith signed with Pistons
    4) C.Copeland signed with Pacers

Who are the remaining PFs left, should we go hard at either D.West or L.Aldridge or will these two remain with their respectable team. Should we really take G.Monroe off of Pistons by giving them Rudy Gay + fillers (Kleiza, Lowry)

A Good PF is hard to find these days, established ones are even harder to attract to play for the Raptors.

    The master has returned.

Edit: Millsap would've been great. We have no chance at West though, Pacers wouldn't trade him

I don't think we can take Monroe from Pistons with Gay

By the way, Carl Landry signed a deal.

I would consider this deal if they wanted to make it:

To Pistons- Gay, Lowry, Knicks 2016 pick

To Raptors- Carlie V, Stuckey, Knight, Monroe

Not sure if it works exactly like that but the salaries must be close to fitting, we would have multiple young assets major cash over the next couple seasons and a good chance at at high pick next year... Not saying I'd do it for sure but I would have to think about it

    Raps get raped IMO

Lowry and gay are off books next year or year after for gay.

    Knight is backup.
    Stucky and cv are crap
Deal is basically gay/Lowry/1st for Monroe

Remove us sending that Knicks pick, and make it KCP instead of Knight, and that becomes much more doable.

I'm also a no. I'd rather start Amir at PF and Gay at SF than have Monroe at PF and ??? at SF

Would you guys take Kirilenko and play him at the 4? He's a pretty decent rebounder and shot blocker.

    Ive got it as:

    1. JJ Hickson
    2. Brandon Wright
    3. Marreese Speights

imo the others are undersized bigs n I think we need to stay away from the undersized guys as we already have Amir n Acy.

I think id stay away from the Pistons deal, I just dont trust that Dumars.

I think Hickson will get more than the MLE that the Raptors could offer him; a 24-year-old averaging 12-and-10 in less than 30 minutes should at the least command 6 or 7 million on the FA market (Currently at $4 million but obviously in line for a raise). I guess my problem with Hickson is that he's not necessarily good enough to be a big improvement over Amir. He doesn't really bring more experience or more youth than Amir. He brings a slightly, but not drastically different game, and it's hard to say whether one or the other is a better guy to have alongside JV. Having two Amir-type players isn't necessarily a bad thing, though.

I don't see any way the Raptors can really upgrade starting PF this year. I'm okay to roll with Amir another season, and try to find an interesting project with upside to put as third big.

Liberal, I dont think any of those three are going to be coming to toronto any time soon.

The raps might be wise to target a hard nosed guy thats gonna work his tail off rebound and defend like Ivan Johnson.

Or since Massai has been noted for saying he would rather fill the end of the bench with possible upside young guys, why not try out a guy like Cole Aldrich? He's big, long and can block shots.
