Omer Asik?

The trade of Bargnani to New York has yet to be finalized and with Dwight Howard ending up in Houston Omer Asik wants out. I always liked Asik's game and if Jonas can develop a jumper that can stretch the floor the two could be a formidable pair. Also Bargnani in Houston would allow D. Howard to operate down low, were as Asik and Howard are essentially the same played. Not sure if the math works...Any thoughts?

As noted before, if Asik is not happy about coming off the bench for Dwight, it follows that he'll be less than happy coming off the Raptors bench for JV.

Not sure if you're saying we should get Asik as a backup center or that we shift Jonas as PF and play Asik as center...

Don't think JV will operate very well from the 4 spot.

Yeah why not move JV to the 4 spot and have Omer at the 5. Plus bargnani in Houston makes sense because he can be that stretch 5 to open the inside for Dwight.
