Why Raps: We roll with Ma.Morris who has quite a bit of potential and with next year's pick, there's a chance we might get in the lottery and grab J.Randle. C.Frye is a decent backup C behind Val. We also shed Fields' horrible contract

Why Phoenix: They get two veterans to play alongside their bigs in Lens and Gortat. Amir will instantly start for the pathetic franchise and Fields might rejuvenate his career as a Sun.

As for the deal, it's weird. The Suns are in full rebuild mode... so they trade for Amir and try to win more games, swap their insanely valuable 2014 pick, and give up a second rounder and a prospect too? Their GM doesn't know what he's doing.

Also, I'm not sure I understand the reasoning behind Fields and Frye part of the deal. They have similar contracts, Fields is a scrub, Frye's career might be over.
