For backup C how about Amida Brimah?

7'0" - 217 pounds out of UCONN. 20 years old. Is a blocking and fouling machine. Rebounds offensively quite well and finishes around the rim at a decent clip. Not a great FT shooter. Runs amazingly well, very mobile laterally as well. Long arm with a good vertical.

Only been playing ball for 4 years

A bit of a project but that is fine considering he is going to be a bench C behind Val, who should be eating most of the minutes next season. Not sure if he going to declare, might be worth Masai giving him a call and asking nicely.

I don't know how legit this is but read this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amida_Brimah
    It is honestly sooooo funnnyyyy

I read something about the deadline to declare having passed?
That was the early declare period

I think he's way too raw to be drafted. Has he even declared? If he did he probably shouldn't have.
I think he is the perfect project. I doubt he develops in college any compared to what he would learn on a nba squad

How exactly do you know he plays small?

There is barely any video of him
Considering some his strengths are his defense, rebounding and physicality it's a rather bizarre thing to say. Pretty obvious he's going to be able to rebound well in the league, something we do not have at the 2 and 3 positions.

I'm as white as the next guy (if the next guy is white) but.....isn't that a tad offensive?

Yeah, i must have a different sense of humour than others here, but I found calling Brimah and his family apes is fucking offensive and also fucking juvenile.
If we knew half as much about coaching an NBA team as we think, we"d know twice as much as we do.

Not white but I feel you

It's the stupidity of Wikipedia that's funny, sorry if that offended anyone

                    • Anyone post this yet? Kings are going to invite 2 members of the public to their draft room.

A key that opens many locks is a master key, but a lock that gets open by many keys is just a shitty lock

Probably. Like the past 5 drafts have been pretty bad for them, even Cousins (as talented as he is) doesn't look like a great pick considering his attitude and demeanor
