I would kiss Masai Ujiri's almost bald head if he could land one of the Bulls' picks and draft both Capela and Ennis.

The thought of Ennis getting mentored by Lowry pleasures me a little bit too much, and the thought of Capela turning into a Serge Ibaka in a frontcourt with a developed JV pleasures me even more. MU, get 'er done.

          Yup this!

Capela has Ibaka potential! And with Casey around we can slowly see him developing into something like Ibaka.

              • Pretty cool what the Kings are doing- crowd sourcing ideas. Maybe they need to expand their analytics team instead, but still pretty cool.

Based from what Masai is looking for in a player, i say there's no chance they draft Early at 20.

The Boston Celtics continue to look at all options leading up to the NBA draft which includes landing the No. 1 overall pick. A league source has told CSNNE.com that the Celtics have engaged the Cleveland Cavaliers about acquiring the No. 1 overall pick in Thursday's NBA draft. CSNNE.com -
                    - Yes.. trading up for the number 1 over all pick armed with what ???. You can have anyone on a roster that went 25 - 57 and the 6th pick.

Keith Langlois: SVG says even with time spent on FA & draft, well more than 50% of his time has been devoted to Greg Monroe's situation.
Brilliant insight. The Pistons don't have a pick in the 1st round of the draft so all they have is Free Agency. If SVG is spending 50% of his time on it he must be spending the other 50% of his time at Mo's Bar or staring out the window.

You can't make this stuff up and its only Tuesday. Can't wait for Wednesday night or Thursday morning reports from sources. Knicks trying to get first overall pick from Cavs with offer of magic beans !

The Raptors are looking to add length and athleticism to their frontcourt, which does not feature much in the way of rim protection. Clint Capela has terrific physical attributes with his 7-5 wingspan and explosive athleticism, and could emerge as a major find after a year or two in the weight room.

We need to get JV a front court partner. I'm sorry but, I'm surprised that we we're such a good defensive team with JV being our main rim protector. I see a lot of Larry Sanders in Capela(without being insane of course).

I'd be willing to take the risk though. There's a chance he's just young and playing against guys who can't match up with him.

He may step up his mental game if he's put in a situation where he's challenged and surrounded by responsible, successful peers.

It's obviously not guaranteed or anywhere close, but I'd take a gamble on that.

Heh, if he is in the D-league still in a few years I will be surprised.
                              He's terrible."

Fit need and probably best player on the board. Let the rest handle it self. Plus his 20 I'm sure we were pretty immature at that age. Also he'd be coming into a great locker room. If it was the kings locker room than I'd be worried.
