I agree that we haven't seen great things from Buycks yet, but I think it's better to take a flyer on guys who are cheap because they're an unknown quantity (like him or Stone) than to go for guys that are cheap because they're known to be problematic or bad (Beaubois, Barbosa).
Really depends if you look at this year as a rebuild year or not. Personally, I want the Raps to try to get the maximum amount of wins with the least amount of player movement. If this year doesn't matter then yeah, let Buycks and Stone learn on the job. I don't think either player is problematic. Beaubois' issues are all health and Barbosa has a set skill set that doesn't fit most teams. But he still is better than anyone on the Raps bench right now.
After that the free agent talent drops off a cliff.
