I think come August 2nd if pick is not in, your draft position is forfeited.

You can select a rookie after the draft is released though as has been previously discussed.

Ok. That's what I hoped would be the procedure. Seems fair and realistic (real NBA draft has a timer that needs to be followed) to the intent of the league.

Only a few more days then we can turn our focus to the re-sign period. Exciting times!!!
