A buddy of mine were talking about this a couple of days ago.

I said GM would be dream job. He said coach would be good.

I said, "Yeah but coach has to deal with all those egos." Then I realized GMs deal with agents who, in my opinion, have bigger egos - lol.

It is the very reason under the new CBA with new punitive luxury/repeater tax why draft picks and subsequent rookie contracts are valued so much.

That's the point though. The best value is clearly in draft picks/superstar players. It somewhat defeats the purpose of the excercise I'd think, since you're no longer looking for bargains, but just finding the best young players still on their rookie deal.

Throw in min level players around LBJ and they probably beat the raptors.
