None of them have picks available for several years...doesn't mean they don't have picks to trade though. They aren't the same thing, but there is still value in them. In theory, Ujiri could make the Raptors worse, add a young player like Hardaway JR, and get a 2018 first round pick from NY...all for an expiring contract of a player that isn't in the blueprint moving forward.

This seems doable. Felton had his most success playing under D'Antoni. Buycks or Stone can fill the gap until Felton comes back from injury. It'd be nice to get both Hardaway and a pick.

After watching the way he let himself go while in Portland, I don't think he has any plan/desire to be a part of a team that isn't trying to contend. I could see him trying to arrange a buy-out of some kind in order to try to catch on with a contender.

My guess is that NY is offering Felton & Shumpert & 2018 1st round pick, but MU wants Hardaway (and Smith/Murry for salary balancing) instead of Shumpert.
