Totally worth it though.
I think it just goes to show KD how serious he should be about considering Toronto as a potential future destination.
“You can sink and drown, or you can float, and we out here like Michael Phelps."
Funny. The $25k is pocket change to both MLSE and Drake, and the news story on Drake's pitch gets repeated all over again with the news of the fine. The NBA played this just as they usually do (fining when there's even a sniff of tampering), and it played right into the Raptors' hands. More media exposure for this idea = a very good thing for the marketing/recruiting push, not even specifically for Durant.
Drake boosting his criminal record and his street cred.
Myself (March 2014):
The raptors are a tremendous young team and will win a championship in the following five years.
That's what Drake was brought into the fold for; make illegal contact. Surprised it didn't happen earlier.
I'm 100 percent right 9.090909090909090 percent of the time
#provem - by playing well on the court. Don't worry about the twitterverse
Was Jay Z fined for Empire State of Mind? Would that be considered tampering? Blatantly saying which free agents you're going after if you're a minority owner of a team?
You can't spell Drake without KD.
But Drake doesn't even get paid directly by MLSE so he isn't even really apart of his label .. Only OVO through marketing
Drake his doing his job, mostly good (if at times with cheese in it) and sometimes a tad bad. But any news that Drake pulls of is Good News. Raptors will pay the price, but Drake will write a bank draft to Tim Liewike to pay back the money fined by him the first place, no harm done, they both make that money from a fart they generate.
Imagine if this incident leads KD in a raptors uniform in 2016, that would be awesome!
