Sorry to break the trend, but Lowry has to get traded now doesn't he? If there was ever any intention of signing him, MU has made an error by waiting this long. Kyle is too much of a hot commoditiy to sign at a good price now. I would say he would command a minimum of $8 Mil a season now.

The Raptors can afford $8Mill. More importantly, the teams that need PGs who won't be able to use the draft are NY, maybe Chicago, and the Lakers. NY has no money available thanks to bad cap management. If Rose comes back Chicago doesn't need him, so it would be what's left of the Lakers and the Raptors as the most likely choices.

But to be honest, it's too early to speculate. I want to see how he plays post-trade deadline.
