OH man. Epically weird trade, even for tftw...

So Toronto gives up 3 of their best assets for Deng and Young....

Philly gets two first rounders for arguably the worst players in the deal, as well as 2 PFs....

    Chicago gets 3 SGs......

Love it. Had a great laugh...Thanks.

One day I'd love to see a 30 team trade

If Deng is a FA after this season, why give up assets to get him? Seems kinda strange. Essentially it becomes Amir, Demar, Landry and a first for Young.

Yep, it looks kind of weird. If I had to guess, Toronto says yes to all three trades and all those other teams say no, except maybe Chicago.

Thad Young is pretty good. Current East player of the week for a reason. Last 7 games: 26-8, 3 assists, 3 steals, 65% TS, .500 3pt, Philly is 5-2 with a win over Portland. On top of it, he's 25 years old.

Philly would definitely say no. They get two likely garbage end-of-1st picks, give up arguably the hottest asset in the trade and lose a crapload of cap flexibility by absorbing Boozer.

Denver gives up Wilson Chandler for free essentially, so no.

Milwaukee takes on Novak, that looks completely random and doesn't make much sense.

Chicago is the one where I'd pause. They get a long term piece and DeMar+Fields next year salary is comparable to Boozer's.

I'd probably do it for Toronto. Likely a low pick + DeMar+ Amir for Thad+Deng+cap flexibility. The team gets better now and if they resign Deng, it stays better. If not, they might be able to use that extra cap space.
And the two smaller trades are nobrainers for Toronto.

I hope you didn't spend too much time coming up with this...

Who cares if he did? It won't make an impact either way, at least he kept himself entertained thinking about the team he loves. Isn't that what this forum is about anyways?

Wow. Thank goodness Deng was traded yesterday, before it was too late. This could have happened. YUCK
