Then why do you call him General Greivis? You should be informed that is a Star Wars prequel trilogy reference, and therefore terrible.
Those movies are terrible and slow paced. Seems like a good fit.

      • Somehow, even when they went down 10 in the 3rd, and had been playing poorly,,,, somehow I was still at peace believing they were going to turn it up and take the game. Observations:

        - DeMar said enough is enough, put the team on his shoulders. and took care of righting the ship. As always, the kid just keeps getting better

        - During the Nets' run in the 3rd, I kept expecting Casey to call a timeout, but didn't until it got to looking real bad. I think there was a method to what appeared to be madness. Sure the turnaround looked bad, but I think he may have calculated on a rope-a-dope strategy. He didn't want to call a timeout and give THEM old legs a rest. It seemed to work, as that run, without any breaks given to them, gassed them.

        - How great does 2Pat look as an addition to this team? The Raps have the right to a qualifying offer on him for next year, but I hope they can tie him up for a reasonable contract.

        - Lowry continues to demonstrate that he is loving being a part of this team. As far as the "contract year" performance that some speak of fearing, don't forget that he was playing at a very high level, with all-star talk then as well, with Houston before that infection that de-railed him. That wasn't a contract year.

Ummmm, there was tons of talk about him playing at an all-star level in 2011-2012 season, until that infection sidelined him for most of the rest of the season. In 32 games prior to the All Star break, he was averaging 15.6 PTs, 7.6 ASTs, 5.3 RBs, 37.5% from 3, on 5 attempts per game. Yes, there was talk all over the place that he was playing at an all-star level, whether you agree with that or not. Can't be bothered to bring up more, but here are a couple of links covering some chatter at the time:

Even the coach he couldn' get along with said he was snubbed:

When he got traded to the Raps, people still talked about his all-star level of play:

Thank you for doing this because I was just about to. Those number are not far off from what he's doing now so if people think he should be an All Star this year he should have that year as well. That Houston team was 5th or 6th in the western conference when he was playing and I believe didn't even make the playoffs at the end. He was a big part of their success. I don't know how people didn't hear or know about the chatter of him being an All Star that year. Smh.
I relish negativity and disappointment. It is not healthy. Somebody buy me a pony.

Lowry was in the all-star conversation his last year in Houston. Didn't make it because there's too many great PG's in the west.
