  • Which referees screw us the most---please name names.

Violet Palmer has hurt us several times over the past two years. I think it is time to call refs out when they screw up.

#59 has also made some bad calls this year against us. Are there others? yes I know we have to overcome poor calls to be successful but since officiating is such a huge part of the game it can break your back. My biggest pet peeve is when they are unsure of call is to ask for help and review the replay.

That referee last season who ejected Johnson because he could not have the ball in between a free throw against portland

Every team feels that way about each of those refs, though.

Penis Bavetta. But not particularly biased against the raptors. He just makes terrible calls consistently.

Joe Crawford or Dick Bavetta? (both are appropriate answers)

Yes. Well reffing across the league is just awful.

I actually like Joey Crawford. I think he's one of the more unbiased refs. Dick Bavetta is...well a dick.

True but certain refs make recurrent bad calls against certain teams. Ask Celtics and T-Wolves about Ed Malloy.

                          Yup.
                          Definitely both.

I think something absolutely needs to be done, and I hope that is one of Silver's first moves.

I really think the simplest solution is to just scale back their role.
                          Simple.
Let the men play, and be consistent.

                          Want to fix flopping?
                          Let the men play.

On top of that, I think replays should be used in controversial moments.
I think something like a coach's challenge in football would be appropriate.

They should start by paying them more. Like, a million dollars a year. Would attract better candidates.

Yeah, but that's just a minor symptom of a more major problem, is basically what I'm getting at.
