This one is simple. There are many Raptors that we support but some are just a little closer to our hearts. I'm choosing Amir because I love what he does. Curious to see what the rest have to say.

    Why?

    Youngest Raptor.
A lot of potential left untapped.
Hardest position to fill in the league.
Desire to be great as he comes from a basketball starved nation.

I think I would go with Amir as well.

He's already been here half his life, plus he exemplifies what Torontonians love in their athletes (i.e. blue-collar, hard-workers).

EDIT: I answered the question with my "sentimental fan" hat on....not my "emotionless GM" hat

I added a poll to help track answers. Hope that's ok!

Ross, nothing to do with how good i think he will be or could be (although I'm sure he could be great) but just how entertaining he is. Who doesn't love threes and dunks!

    JV for his potential

TRoss is a close second because of his electrifying dunks

Yeah, the JV and Ross combo is a hard one to pass up, with JV getting the slight edge mostly because of position.

I love both...why? They both seem like guys who will fit in any system with pretty much any roster.

Ross is valuable not only for his skill set (offense and defense) but for his ability to contribute/score without the ball in his hands.

He really has become good at reading the angles and moving to get open looks for 3.

i vote Ross. only a sophomore but learning fast on almost all levels that someone in his position needs, especially now that he has opportunity to start and play more minutes.

Same I went back and forth but JV will be our Ilgauskus. And Centres can play until they're in their late 30's.

Ross because he has superstar talent. I don't know if he can realize his full potential or not... but he has the highest ceiling IMO so thats something i don't want to give up on.

I'm going with this years version of Lowry. He's the best damn player this team has seen in a long while and I'm just tired of banking on potential when the fully realized form of potential is clear and present in Lowry.

Cosign. I'd happily sign up for another five years of this.
