In the end, it's not the Nets fault. It's our fault. Guys didn't show up, matchups weren't used. But it's not like we didn't see it coming. Our D that we hung our hat on went by the wayside in April. We just kinda coasted into the playoffs. That's a bad sign.

You can't be upset at the Nets for what they did. Hell, if I were playing and was setting illegal screen after illegal screen or playing extra physical and was getting away with it while my team was benefitting from it, why would I stop? The blame lies with the officiating and with the league - And of course, the team is question that aren't benefitting from the call from the officials. Everyone knows that the better you play, the tendency to get more calls your way.
It sucks, but it's the way it is in the NBA. Sometime you gotta create your own breaks. We just didn't do that.

Because the original quote I started with was exactly what GLF was saying for the last 20 games of the year. Granted he was quite persistent and a touch more negative but the message was the same. He was shat on repeatedly for it, mocked and mimicked, but here we are with an almost exact word for word quote of what he said.

So how does it relate to you? It doesn't. It relates to GLF and he is vindicated by at least one post - intentionally or not.
