    Default RR Scouting Report

Since there is no NBA stuff to talk about , I wanted RR to have a little mini combine and see how we stack up against fellow members lol

    Height: 6'6
    Weight: 215lbs
    Standing reach: 8"4
    Wingspan: 6'7 ( TREX arms LMAO )
Vertical: Haven't measured in like a year but its around 32"-35"

strengths: Good catch and shoot player, Weakside shot blocker due to my height and leaping ability haha
On defense Im going to guard the best player you have and make him work for everything
Also love to push the pace and make all the older guys at the Y tired as hell ahahha
Can handle the ball like a PG

Weakness's: Cannot go right at all LMAO, I always get James Harden comparisons because of this
I always go for the highlight plays instead of the simple ones ( HS coach used to hate me for this )
Bad shot selection like J.R SMITH

    NBA PLAYER COMPARISON : J.R Smith/Shaun Livingston
He's 2 years away from being 2 years away, but his wingspan is already here .

    I'll play.

    Height: 5'6
    Weight: 120lbs
Vertical: Never actually measured, but I can't block guys who are over six feet (aka white boy can't jump)

    Strengths:

    Decent jump shot
    Good at finishing through contact
    Good at layups
Very good agility and lateral quicks
Very good post game for my height, I can post up guys who are a half a foot taller
    Fairly good handle
    Very good passer

    Weaknesses:

Height (always the smallest guy on the court)
Below average athleticism and speed (I'm quick and agile 1 on 1 but get burned in the open court)
Skinny, and only average strength, so I get beat to rebounds by taller opponents
    Bad post D
Bad at blocking (I've been on a few posters)
Can be very hot or very cold
When hot, I tend to throw up more shots than usual

NBA PLAYER COMPARISON : A small Greivis Vasquez with Shaun Livingston's post game
    The name's Bond, James Bond.

    I'm in.

    Height: 6'2"

    Weight: 200 lbs

    Standing reach: 8'0"

Vertical: no idea but I can hang on to the rim (so I guess that's at least 24")

    Wingspan: I don't know because I'm not a pterodactyl.

Inconsistent shot but when I get hot I can hit from anywhere.

Can get boards and get position on anyone.

Good help defender, change a lot of shots, can keep my man in front of me more often than not.

Hustle my ass off and scrap for boards. Get a lot of putbacks and offensive boards. Always moving off ball.

Love to run the pick and roll, both as ball handler and roll man, can hit 3s pretty consistently off the pick.

Great post game, can back down with the best of em, lots of post moves, got my right hook flowing like JV

Don't take midrange shots unless I'm wide open, I prefer 3s or layups.

Love to make back door cuts and find teammates wide open on their way to the basket. Good passer too.

I end up having the role of floor general/hustle guy just cause guys I play with dont usually have high ball IQ, but I don't have really great handles.

NBA comparison: i don't know, you guys tell me
A key that opens many locks is a master key, but a lock that gets open by many keys is just a shitty lock

    Height: 6'1" Point Guard
    Weight: 150lbs
    Standing reach: 8"4
Wingspan: 6'3" (That's from College, so I imagine its still relatively accurate)
Vertical: Dunked on a 9'-8" rim back in the day (backboard was fucked, made for good dunks by some of the more vertically-inclined people). So there's that?

Strengths: Court Vision, Handles, Decent shot. Played Highschool basketball in Brampton, so I was one of 2 white guys on the team, and the only one that got PT. My role was to pass and lob the ball to our Star players. I like to think I excelled at this, while doing a decent job of sticking the open 3 when given the shot.

Weakness: Injuries. Woulda made the L otherwise.

    NBA Comparison: Luke Ridnour.

    5'9" ish
    140 Lbs
    Standing reach: No clue
Wingspan: Again, no clue but people say i have long arms
Vertical: haven't really measured in like 2 years, i can almost touch the rim so maybe around 26 - 28"? idk
Strengths: Mainly a catch and shoot player, i have a quick release so i tend to get my shot off pretty fast. Once i hit one or two three's I can get on a roll and light it up. I have good lateral quicks and a good defensive stance despite rarely ever getting any decent coaching, i'm good at contesting shots and closing out and just trying to disrupt the opposing player as much as i can.
    Weaknesses:
    - Not very good at taking it to the rim
    - Can't finish with left hand too often
    - below average handles
    - average to slightly below average athleticism
    - I don't always make the right pass

    NBA Comparison: Patty Mills!

    Height: 6' 8"
    Weight: 255
    Standing reach: 8'10"
    wingspan: 6'11"
vertical: Not sure. Can still stand under hoop and dunk 2 hands though which isn't bad for mid 30s.

Strengths: Post game - fluent both hands, good footwork. Rebounding. Once upon a time I was a great weak side shot blocker. Very quick 2nd and 3rd jump.

Weaknesses: Not the greatest passer... or willing - lol. Not much of an outside shot in a game, funny enough when it is not a game.... swooosh. Knees bad now.

NBA comparison: I don't think I have one. If I did I'd probably be in the league.... we all would! lol

    Decent handles
Speedster can run right past defence
    When hot cant be stopped
    Good rebounder for size
Good post defence on smalller players (not many lol)
Solid one on one and help defender
    Good at changing speeds
    Trashtalk is just amazing

    Weaknesses:
    Cant get past physical players
    No post moves

I didn't mean it to sound douchy but wow haha. I'm known as a pretty good perimeter defender, so unless you've got like Allen Iverson handles you ain't scoring
