Landry Fields is a clownicus. Instead of making an ass of himself he should focus on becoming a half decent ball player again.

I'm sayin it would be nice to see dude putting in some work during the off season like DeRo, TRoss etc. to improve his waay overpaid game. To each their own tho.

These comments just annoy me, you can't practice basketball 24/7. T-Ross likes playing Xbox, are you going to tell him to go and practice instead? Amir, stop giving out free CDs to Toronto citizens and go practice! I'm sure Fields puts in plenty of practice time but they do have lives outside of basketball you know.

This. Some people need to stop thinking NBA players are slaves (hate to use that term, but it's really the most accurate to describe the perception some fans have).

Say you have a job as a computer programmer. When you go home from work, does anyone start harrasing you to practice your coding in your free time instead of spending time with family and/or doing other things you enjoy?

Point taken. Tho I haven't seen any indication of him practicing in the media. But like I said to each their own.

Like what indication? We hear about Jonas and DeMar because they're faces of the franchise. You don't really hear about other guys. Even some key players. What's Lowry doing? Vasquez? Amir (other than Drew league, which is garbage)? End of benchers like Novak? Hayes? etc...etc....People don't feel the need to report on stuff the majority of people don't care about.

Did you see John Luvitz as Billy Idol? That was priceless.

As for Fields being dedicated to the Raptors 24/7, well, that's unreasonable but I do understand some fans' disappointment in his play. These fans just need to keep in mind that it was well accepted to be a bonehead move by Colangelo the day the signing occurred. It's not Fields' fault Colangelo was that stupid on that particular day; I'd have signed the contract too and have been happy to have you hate me everyday. You have to think that contract played a role in getting Colangelo fired. So there's your justice... I guess if you need something to make you feel a little better about the whole thing.

Actually this might work out for the Raptors.. Some teams only care about revenue and not talent. If Fields becomes popular enough he might actually be worth something in a trade.

It's also not Fields' fault he suffered terrible nerve damage in his shooting arm.

That something is the fact his contract is gone after this year.
