  • The trades & future?????????????

Okay guys i think Masai should do these moves to improve our team

first- Trade Grevis Vasquez and second rounder (37) to GSW for Harrison Barnes
    http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=nurwlrz

Second-Trade John Salmons to OKC for Kendrick Perkins and there 29th pick
    http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=m3gsggf

Third-Trade Terrence Ross/Landry Fields, 20th pick and Nando DeCole for Thaddus Young and 10th pick

Sign Kyle Lowry to a 4 year 44 million Let 2Pat Walk
Draft Doug McDermott(10), Shabazz Napier (29), Markel Brown (59)
Cut Hayes and Sign VC to a 5 million 2 year

    Lowry/Shabazz Napier/Buckyz
    DeRozan/Vince CAter/Markel Brown/Stone
    Barnes/Doug McDermott/Novak
    Young/Johnson
    JV/Perkins

If my calculations are correct our total salary will be around 64-67 million so we might need to fix a couple of things

If you guys have some suggestions please tell me know

That makes no sense to me. Thad Young is a much better player than Ross and he's older just by 2 years.

And we have a stupidly thin frontline....That alone makes this a terrible plan. In general I find this a terrible plan. We downgrade depth and/or talent at all positions except arguably the wings.

Why the fuck would Philly do that trade?

A front court of Lowry/DeRozan/Cater/Napier is better than Lowry/DeRozan/GV/Salmons
and is napier can play better than expected we got a bright future

          our small forwards are better
HB had a bad year last year but he is a full year young then TRoss and im sure he will improve
and if Doug plays the way he did in college but a bit better he will come top 10 for ROY for sure and possibly TOP 5
So i think the small forwards improved

          and so did the centers
          JV/Perkins > JV/PhycoT > JV/Hayes

The only thing we lost in this is dept but if the Rookies turn out to better than expected we might end up winning like 55games if everyone stays healthy
I would also rather there Young/Johnson than Johnson/2Pat

Philly gets a SG/SF who can play great beside MCW and Wiggins/Parker and with the 20th pick they can draft a PF or even C if NN wants to play PF
they also get a good back SF/SG in Landry
Nando can just play backup for MCW

they will go thru another year of tanking but then they will look like a great team if they can sign some good vets
            2015/2016 PHILLY TEAM
            MCW- Signs Vet
            Tross - Random player
Wiggins or Parker - Healthy Fields
            2015 lottery pick-2014 20th pick
            Nerlens Noel - Sign Vet

Why don't they just keep Thad Young and draft a SG with the no.10 pick? Or they could combine Thad Young with other assets and move up in the draft or trade for a very good player.

              Thad Young >> Ross
              no.10 pick >> no.20 pick

I don't know, maybe you are rating Ross like an all star, but that trade makes no sense.

Also, Nando is a free agent so you can't trade him.

McDermott is a bust waiting to happen, I would not pick him at 10 in this draft when there is a plethora of better players

Why would Philly trade a better player for a worse player and a #10 pick for #20????????????
