Actually now that I think about it. Isn't Bosh's max from another team like 4yr/88M not 4yr/96M?

    DanH where u at?
    4.5% raises annually.

    • Broussards the worst. Bosh isn't even eligible for a 4 year 96 million dollar deal with Houston. Based off what he earned last year the max Bosh can be offered is 20.7 million in year 1 with a 4.5% increase. Meaning the most Houston could offer would be 85.5 million. Miami on the other hand could offer 7.5% raises bringing the number close to but not quite the reported 96 million. Almost 1 million followers and still no idea what he's talking about.

      • Josh McRoberts just came to terms with Miami: four years at $23 million, player option on the final year.

        • I love McBob, all he does is highlights. Good signing for Miami.
          Myself (March 2014):
The raptors are a tremendous young team and will win a championship in the following five years.

With reported salary cap moving to $63M and Bosh having 10+ years experience, max contract offer is 35% of salary cap which is $22.05M.

With 4.5% annual raises it works out to a little less than $96M.

            • Guess Bosh is as good as gone. They are looking at landing Melo now.

Is this not the re-signing of Mike Miller. A younger less fragile Mike Miller but still a Mike Miller clone albiet 2 inches and 20lbs bigger. Same s*it different day ?

There's no such thing as a 2nd round bust.

                    • None of the max offers are going to be concrete until league releases final salary cap numbers.

That should be in next couple of days.

The 11th at the absolute latest.

Mike Miller? Not really similar to McRoberts at all. I guess McBob shoots the 3 and passes the ball...but from a different position which means he impacts his team in a much different way. Don't think it makes a lot of sense to compare a wing to a PF/C

Well, except that McRoberts is a banging power forward who can play stretch four, whereas Miller is a speedier small forward who's a dedicated perimeter shooter. But they both have great beards.
