I don't think we can afford to let him get away because then we'd only have the MLE left to fill two roster needs, backup PG and big wing defender. If we keep him, then we can use the MLE just on the big wing defender.

I don't think both those guys are much better options. I still think GV is the best pg available in our price range.

I'd like to see GV back for the sake of coming into training camp in the fall without most of the team having to wear name badges to identify themselves to each other. This is the first year in a while where that is possible.

Remember the days of as many as 8 new players coming into camp that were going to be breaking camp with the team.
