Waiters or Harkless both will be buried this season.
Something is going to have to give in Orlando.

Payton is obviously PG of future.
Oladipo at SG with Willie Green, Ben Gordon, Fournier.

    Harkless is only true SF

    Harris is a SF/PF.
Gordon, as of now, is a SF/PF.

The wing situation is definitely up in the air.

I've made no secret of my affinity for Harkless. I'm not sure he is a definite starter going forward but he is just 21 and already a good defensive player and managed to hit 38% of his 3s last year. I'd be ecstatic with him as part of the core.

I think we should look at this scenario a bit more down the road. One of the possibility is Andrew Wiggins!
theres so many IFs in this situation but they are all realistic.

First off, Wiggins develops in the next 3 years to become a star player in the mold of "pre-max extension Paul George".

Second of all, Hope the reported Max offer to Hayward by the Cavs is true and he ends up signing with them.

Third, Cavs stick with either Triston or Dion and offer an extension to one of them next year in the 8-10mil range~ (very possible)

in hopes of making playff runs, hope they go over the cap and spend to retain/acquire role players the next two years (very possible)

3 years down the road, they'll have Wiggins asking for max offer. Boom! Cavs can no longer stomach that tax burden of repeater tax. Ends up shopping him just like OKC did with Harden.

      And Warlord goes to work.

      The End.

FML i feel like a Knicks fan. but hey atleast im being logically delusional.

Would we have more profitable not trading for Harden, or accepting the JV deal for him?

Most of the names listed so far aren't really under the radar.
          -Leonard just won FMVP.
-Batum is part of the Blazers core and already getting paid a healthy eight figures.
-Klay isn't being traded for Love, so GS probably isn't dealing.

          Also
-Waiters and Lance have garbage attitudes
-Harkless and MKG are really flawed, but MKG could come cheap I think

Tobias Harris would be my pick. A Magic poster said the Magic see Gordon as a SF long term, so Harris might be available. Love his game too. This season he was hampered by injury early on, but I think before long he'll blow up.

Terrence Jones strikes me as a high upside guy who might be available, what with Houston's cutthroat pursuit of established stars

Might take a flyer on Harrison Barnes if he came cheap enough.

Vasquez is basically a less athletic Harden

I'm still confused by the love Harrison Barnes gets. What is he actually good at? He's inefficient, not particularly good on defense or on the glass, can't really create his own basket, not a good playmaker...

EDIT: If we can get Barnes for next to nothing to try him out? Sure, why not. But I'm sure as hell not trading Amir for him (which GS would laugh at us and then accept if they could) or anyone of value.

They just turned down Afflalo plus a pick for Barnes.

I would love to see Kevin Love on our team. If we somehow can make it to the Conference Finals, and we are 3rd or above in the East, I would imagine he would give us a good look. I think with two successful seasons under our belts we should be able to lour some good FAs here. Our team is so young and has such good potential, it's hard not to give us a second though.

Another player that I like down the road is Derrick Favours. He'll be 23 when he starts this season (which matches our youth), and has 4 years left on his contract. If we could swing a trade for him or sign him when he is 27, he could be a great addition to this core.

Been going through other rosters, and this is what I've pulled up. I've only put down 3's and 4's here, as they're our most glaring weaknesses.

                        Criteria:
                        -is under 25
                        -plays relatively well
                        -has potential
                        -was not drafted in 2014
-played at the 4 or 3 over 50% of the time, according to b-ref for at least a year in their career

                        3's:
                        Sergei Karasev
                        Kyle Singler
                        Jimmy Butler
                        Paul George
                        Giannis Antetokounmpo
                        Khris Middleton
                        Michael Kidd-Gilchrist
                        Michael Beasley (criteria fits)
                        Moe Harkless
                        Otto Porter
                        Jae Crowder
                        Al-Farouq Aminu
                        Darius Miller
                        Kawhi Leonard
                        Danilo Galinari
                        Quincy Miller
                        Nicolas Batum
                        Kevin Durant (heyo)
                        Gordon Hayward
                        Harrison Barnes
                        Draymond Green
                        Reggie Bullock
                        Derrick Williams
                        Chandler Parsons

                        4's:
                        Kelly Olynyk
                        Jared Sullinger (let's get this straight, he's a 4, not a 5)
                        Arnett Moutrie
                        Tristan Thompson
                        Anthony Bennett
                        Greg Monroe
John Henson (a 4 by nature)
                        Tobias Harris
                        Andrew Nicholson
                        DeJuan Blair
                        Terrence Jones
                        Donatas Motiejuanas
                        Anthony Davis (heyo)
                        Kenneth Faried
                        JJ Hickson
                        Thomas Robinson
                        Perry Jones
                        Serge Ibaka
                        Derrick Favors
                        Blake Griffin (heyo)
                        Markieff Morris
                        Marcus Morris
                        Quincy Acy

So, who you like? (other than the obvious currently unattainable superstars)
