I can't wait until Cleveland implodes this season so I can lord it over all you guys...in fact I'm making a list...
ohhhh ohhhh ok add me to your list, although i respect your super moderator title i must say and ill put this in capitals CLEVELAND WINS 48 PLUS GAMES. Now i get that might not be up to lbj standard so maybe you consider that imploding, but there is no way that dont win more games then they lose. They have arguable 2 of the most sought after players in the last 15 years from and individualist stand point. one in its prime, and the other willing to absorb all the knowledge that can be offered to him.

Listen to how his players speak highly of him. Casey is a leader of men.

he is an excellent motivator for the youth, and a great sales man. he can pitch a plan and make you believe it. he is the best coach for the current job, but as the team grows and were forced to trade players we like for player we need for position rational so goes the needs and wants of a coach. at this point the xs and os will matter, when that time is appon us i expect our gm to get the beast coach for our current situation at that moment.

Means Casey could break the record for job held after being fired from the Raptors. Current record is 0

I thought Fields was having back spasms after he fell hard in the playoffs and that's why he wasn't used.

There really wasn't much that could be done. We had noone else who could stop JJ, and the Nets have five guys who can score so you don't wanna double team too much.

And to say it's a disaster if we lose in the first round again... man you gotta straighten that out. Progress isn't linear.

If I'd told you that at the start of last year, you'd have thought it was ridiculous.
You thought that because he was having back spasms after tumbling over Livingston. He was also having back problems in the regular season.

This. We were actually the only playoff team to start TWO players with two years or less experience.

Washington, Charlotte, Houston and Portland are the only other teams that even started 1.
    Wall and Beal?

What is your definition of "implosion"?

Without further moves (Love) or even with them (also Love) I don't see the Cavs winning a championship. It took the Heat two tries and they had way more playoff experience and all three were in their primes. All the young guys on Cleveland are still learning. That said, the only teams that would keep them out of the finals all have issues Indy (chemistry/Hibbert/Stephenson)
Chicago (D-Rose health) Heat (Wade is past prime, Deng is not Lebron), Then you have up and coming teams Raps/Wiz (need improvement from young guys) and whatever the Hawks do (could the best gamble for East team that goes to the finals).

All of these teams have serious question marks. That said, even if the Heat get eliminated in the first round of the playoffs (which is also a real possibility) I don't see that as an implosion.

To me an implosion would have to be a combination of

    1) Head coach fired before christmas & Cavs miss the playoffs entirely
    2) Lebron forces his way out of Cleveland at the trade deadline or before.

I wouldn't characterize a first or second round exit as an implosion.
"We only have one rule on this team. What is that rule? E.L.E. That's right's, E.L.E, and what does E.L.E. stand for? EVERYBODY LOVE EVERYBODY. Right there up on the wall, because this isn't just a basketball team, this is a lifestyle. ~ Jackie Moon

my definition of implosion is 7th - 8th and 1st round exit. It's only an implosion when compared to these ECF nutbars and 1st or 2nd in the conference
