Bargnani's at 227, a drop of 84 for him. Meaning we've got 8 players on our team that are higher-ranked than Bargnani.
The question is, how many players do the Knicks have ranked higher than Bargnani?

We should bet on where our top 5 guys end up. I'm just going to try to re-sort the top 50 and add some high-movers. I don't think this is the actual rank/value of the guys, but where the consensus opinion will end up, based on expectations for the coming season.

        1 Lebron (1)
        2 KD (2)
        3 Paul (3)
        4 Westbrook (5)
        5 Curry (6)
        6 Griffin (14)
        7 Love (11)
        8 Anthony Davis (33)
        9 Harden (4)
        10 Howard (7)

        Top 10-20ish players
        11 Melo (15)
        12 Aldridge (17)
        13 Marc Gasol (10)
        14 Parker (12)
        15 Irving (8)
        16 Noah (23)
        17 Wall (21)
        18 Dirk (26)
        19 Cousins (40)
        20 Leonard (34)

        Top 20-40ish
        Lillard (30)
        Bosh (24)
        Ibaka (39)
        Horford (19)
        Wade (18)
        Duncan (16)
        Al Jeff (51)
        Conley (32)
        Rondo (27)
        Dragic (107)
        Bledsoe (63)
        Kobe (25)
        Millsap (50)
        Josh Smith (36)
        Lawson (38)
        Iguodala (31)
        Rose (9)

I think Lowry and Derozan will fit in here somewhere between 30 and 50.

        40s and higher
        Randolph (35)
        Drummond (54)
        Holiday (43)
        Monroe (42)
        Deron Williams (20)
        Batum (57)
        Thompson (60)
        Beal (73)
        Brook Lopez (28)
        Faried (47)
        DeAndre Jordan (77)

Who knows? Probably in the top 50-100 somewhere.
        Deng (46)
        Hibbert (22)
        Rubio (49)
        DWest (44)
        Pau Gasol (29)
        Pierce (48)
        Sanders (45)
        KG (41)
        --George (13)
        Tyson Chandler (37)

So my guesses for our top 5 are....
        Lowry 30 (78)
        Derozan 45 (104)
        Val 75 (82)
        Amir 130 (165)
        Ross 135 (203)

Lou Williams was 120 and Vasquez was 124 last year, either might sneak in higher than Amir or Ross. I think it's possible that Amir/Ross/LouWill/Greivis/PPat all slot in between 110 and 150.

The average team should expect to have 5 guys in the top 150, we could have 8, though obviously we're still less top-heavy. Should have some upside to go with Val/Ross/Bebe/Bruno, hopefully at least a couple can take The Leap in the next couple years.

We might have all plusses except for Lowry and maybe DD and JV (and Bruno)

Pretty nuch shows that we have a good bench, but we lack a true superstar, which most of us already knew.

Surprised Williams is so low. I think he's got the potential to be one of the top scoring bench players in the league, and get a significant number of minutes playing with starters and in late-game situations. I thought he'd end up around 150.

If you consider that there's 150 starters in the league, than 151-180 would essentially be the players up for 6th man consideration. Williams is the 8th man on the Raptors' roster (Vasquez & Patterson), which just shows how improved this teams' depth is.

Great comment associated with Mozgov's ranking:

"@ESPNNBA the guy the Knicks threw into the Melo trade like a package of ketchup is now ranked higher than the Knicks starting front court."

And I've read that people think that the Knicks will be better than the Raps.

A rookie head coach will be implementing one of the NBA's most advanced offensive schemes with a bunch of knobs and me-first head cases. What could possibly go wrong?

I think the argument for Knicks over Raptors starts with Phil Jackson, ends with 11 rings and has Carmelo Anthony somewhere in between. Nothing else much really.

Like i've always said Knick fans are the most delusional fans in all of sports not just basketball, majority of they're fans believe that by bringing in Pjax and getting rid of Felton they would magically start playing well and get a top4 seed. Instead on trying to argue with these idiots, I simply wait till feb or so and when they're well below .500 and laugh hysterically
