I think the argument for Knicks (THE LEAFS) over Raptors (THE PENGUINS) starts with Phil Jackson (BRENDAN SHANAHAN WHO WON CUP's WITH THE REDWINGS), and ends with 11 rings ( 11 CUPS BEFORE 1967) and has Carmelo Anthony (PHIL KESSEL) somewhere in between. Nothing else much really.

Great comment associated with Mozgov's ranking:

"@ESPNNBA the guy the Knicks threw into the Melo trade like a package of ketchup is now ranked higher than the Knicks starting front court."
      Kudos to Masai on that.

Mosgov was who he was holding out for if I recall correct.

A rookie head coach will be implementing one of the NBA's most advanced offensive schemes with a bunch of knobs and me-first head cases. What could possibly go wrong?
            Post of the week.

There's nothing quite as satisfying as watching the Knicks suck.

PP into the top 140? Damn. Not sure I can say I saw that coming. Well deserved though; he could be a starter on alot of teams.

Anyone have a bigger jump than Steven Adams so far? Rank 406 to 130.

I'd be curious to see what the total ranking scores are for each team if you summed up the individual player rankings.

So my guesses for our top 5 are....
                            Lowry 30 (78)
                            Derozan 45 (104)
                            Val 75 (82)
                            Amir 130 (165)
                            Ross 135 (203)
Nailed Ross at 135. I'm surprised Patman slid in ahead of him, and even more surprised that Amir is finally getting some recognition to be a bit higher. He's probably coming in the next batch though.

Gap between Ross and Barnes shrunk from 127 to just 13. I think he passes HB this season.
