I am blaming RADICAL "Muslims" that are taking over a peaceful religion and using it as a guise to murder innocent people. ISIS aka the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria is one of those groups. They encourage "Jihad" and lone wolfs to attack non-Muslims specifically military and police officers. That is what I am talking about.

The best thing the US and its allies can do is gtfo of there. Let these people lead their own lives. Their continued interference is only creating a common and evil bond to do harm to the west.

ISIS is using two main ways to create a following and gain power: hatred and fear.

Instilling hatred is nothing new. Look what did Hitler do with the Jews in Germany. ISIS is doing the same and the enemy is West. There are a lot of disenfranchised and displaced people in the Middle East (and around the world) and many rightly blame the West - in particular the US.

Instilling fear is also nothing new. Notice there are a lot of converts. Some convert due to anger but many convert for the very reasons you listed.


The rise of ISIS is in large due to the support previously received by the US when they were 'moderate' terrorists. Also, Gadahhfi and Hussein were bastards of the worst kind but they kept the religious fanatics in line. If the US had just stayed out of the middle east the world would be a much more stable place today.
