Stats Kobe might be elite, but I think Duncan has had the better career. Not to mention been surrounded by players that want to play alongside him. Kobe, doesn't appear to play nice with others.

Anyhow, saw this last night via Twitter and it sums up the comparison quite nicely: Duncan has more MVPs, more Finals MVPs, same amount of rings, and his team hasn't won less than 50 games since '99. Consistent excellence.

When they both came into the NBA years ago, I would of said Duncan was the better of the two. And present day, not much of a comparison. I'd still take Tim over Kobe right now.

End of story in my opinion.
